J.Crew Peplum Top | Frame Denim | Superga Sneakers | Tory Burch Sunglasses | J.Crew Bag (sold out, similar here) |
As much as I like to dress up, it’s not always appropriate or functional for many everyday occasions. I find outfits like this one to be so simple and
effortless, yet it has the look of being relatively put together. You probably
know by now that ruffled and peplum tops are my absolute favorite, and this striped one from J.Crew has been a staple in my wardrobe since I found it several weeks ago. The top is a thicker knit material, making it a little more structured, but it still feels comfortable like a tshirt. I’ve also spoken a few times about these jeans from Frame, and I can honestly say that I need them in every wash available! They have a hint of stretch in them so they shape well to your body, but don’t lose their structure after wearing them for a long day – something I have found very frustrating in many pairs of denim that contain stretch materials.
Adding a comfy pair of shoes completes this casual look. Until about a week ago, I had never tried on Superga sneakers, but now I’m hooked. Previously, Converse were an everyday staple for me, but I’ll probably switch out every pair of Converse I own for Superga because the fit and comfort level is much better. I even have my eyes on this velvet pair I saw on Anthropologie’s website the other day. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for something that you can throw on and wear with anything!
