Happy Friday! Today is the first of hopefully many makeup tutorials I’ll share with you. This is a look I love to wear everyday for any occasion because it’s not too over the top! All of the products are listed below for easy finding! Happy reading!
P.s. I used my 5x Sensor Mirror from Simplehuman!
Fresh-faced and ready to go!
I prime my face with the Laura Mercier Foundation Primer no matter what foundation I’m using (I use tinted moisturizer in the summer and air brush foundation in the winter). This primer has a bit of tint to it and makes the skin perfect for applying foundation – as a good primer should!
Next I apply my foundation. Here I’m using the NARS Pure Radiant tinted moisturizer in the color St. Moritz and applying it with my Sigma F80 Flat Kabuki brush.
Here I apply the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Chocolate to better emphasize my brows. A little goes a long way with this product! The Anastasia Beverly Hills #12 Brush works great with this for obvious reasons.
For my eyeshadow I used a mix of Burnt Orange and Birkin from Anastasia Beverly Hills as my transition and crease colors and Skimp and Frisk in the Naked2 Basics pallette from Urban Decay on my lid. NARS Dual Intensity eyeshadow in Dione is in the inner corners of my eyes.
Once the eyeshadow is finished I added some liquid liner from Kat Von D. I must admit liquid liner still troubles me because I can never get both eyes to look just right! Nonetheless it’s a fabulous liner.
Now to my favorite picture! Using NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Ginger I add product to the high points on my face.
And Viola! Here’s the finished look! I hope you all enjoyed this post. Be sure to follow me on Instagram and Twitter (both @destiny_cook) and comment below with your favorite beauty items!
